“Me Gusta Mucho Miraflores”
(“I love Miraflores”)
Me gusta mucho Miraflores
That most peaceful place in the sun
The welcome of Spain
The absence of strain
The heat, paltry rain, and the fun
Me gusta mucho Miraflores
I’m thinking of bright Jardin A
So perfect a place
You’ll easily embrace
The leisurely pace of the day!
Me gusta mucho Miraflores
This gem takes you right to its heart
To pamper the clan
Or top-up that tan
Now there’s a good plan for a start
Me gusta mucho Miraflores
What folks you are likely to meet
New friendships made fast
And old ones that last
All stars from a cast quite elite
Me gusta mucho Miraflores
And the ‘Five O’Clock Club’ at the bar
Where the vino is grand
And the measures expand
By the hand of our own Javiar
Me gusta mucho Miraflores
For delight it outshines the rest
To give it a score
I’d say ‘lo mejor!’
In Spanish, that’s simply the best!
